We're hopeful that 2010 will be the "Turnaround" year for the economy and Quality Tool Co. We have made some changes to help us compete in the difficult economy we find ourselves in at this time. However, we refuse to lay off our valuable employees and create more hardship.

We designed and built an eight (8) station automatic assembly and test machine which is now successfully producing parts in Mexico.

We also designed and built a progressive die for our overseas customer. Successful run-off occurred here at Quality Tool on our 220 Ton Stamptec Press. This is significant because up until this time we have only made replacement die components for their tools. Lately, many die builds are placed overseas.

Our new Mitsubishi FA 20 Advance wire edm machine has naturally become a workhorse, producing very close tolerance component tooling more efficiently, and up to 11-1/2 inch tall steel.

We have completed our new office space and are quite pleased with the outcome. The area around the addition previously occupied by machine equipment has been converted into an inspection area with a CMM, optical comparator and new surface plate.
